Call for Abstracts – EOHA Annual Scientific Meeting 2026

Abstract submission is now closed.

We would like to thank all authors for the strong interest and the high number of submissions received for the EOHA Annual Scientific Meeting 2026.
Due to the large number of abstracts currently under evaluation, the review process is still ongoing.
The final decision on abstract acceptance will be communicated by 25 March 2026.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Researchers, professionals, and students across One Health disciplines are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentation.

Authors must select one of the four conference topics:

Joining Environmental Sciences & Ecology with Human/Animal Health — how ecological systems, biodiversity, and environmental change influence animal, human, and ecosystem health.
Research Topics at the Frontiers of One Health Research — scientific breakthroughs and emerging paradigms: microbiome, genomics, pathogen evolution, AMR, cross‑species transmission.
Innovative Solutions for One Health Challenges and their Implementation — technologies, methodologies, vaccines, digital tools, surveillance, and capacity building to bridge research and practice.
Science for Policy and Society — risk communication, health economics, participatory research, policy evaluation, and integrating One Health into decision‑making.

NEW! PhD students can apply for one of the two scholarships offered by our gold sponsor (Longhorn Vaccines and Diagnostics, LLC). If you have an amazing study to show but you need support for the registration fee to attend the congress, this is your opportunity! Prepare a motivation letter (max. 200 words) and submit it together with your abstract! Grants will be notified together with abstracts decision.

Note: Applications received from low- and middle-income countries will be specially considered.

Submission Instructions

Abstracts in English, max 300 words (excluding title and authors).
Use the official EOHA 2026 Abstract Template and upload as .docx or .pdf (max 5 MB). Download template: EOHA2026_Abstract_Template
Structure: Title; Authors & affiliations; Corresponding author email; Main text (Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions); Preferred presentation type (Oral/Poster).
Select one main topic.
Consent for inclusion in the digital Book of Abstracts.

Note: Each presenting author may present a maximum of two accepted abstracts (oral and/or poster).
There is no limit to the total number of abstracts submitted per research group; however, at least one presenting author must be designated for every two abstracts accepted

Review & Notification

Peer review by the Scientific Committee with topic‑based routing to track chairs.
Evaluation criteria: scientific quality, originality, relevance, clarity.
Decisions communicated by 13 March 2026.
