Terms and Conditions of Registration

1. Purpose
   These Terms and Conditions regulate the online registration and payment process for the
   EOHA-ASM 2026 Congress.
   The contractual relationship is established between the participant and Horizcience S.L.,
   which provides the registration service and issues the corresponding invoice.
2. Registration process

Registration is considered confirmed only when:

• The registration form has been completed correctly.
• Payment through the secure virtual POS (TPV) has been authorised.
• The participant receives an automatic confirmation e-mail.
  Horizcience does not guarantee a reserved place in the event of rejected or incomplete
  payments.

1. Fees and taxes
   All registration fees and categories are listed on the “Registration” page of the website.
   Prices include applicable taxes under Spanish law.
2. Payment method
   Payments are processed through a secure virtual POS (TPV) provided by the banking entity.
   Horizcience S.L. does not store or access credit-card information at any time.
   Horizcience shall not be held liable for any incident caused by the payment platform or
   third-party technical issues.
3. Cancellation and refund policy
   All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to projects@horizscience.com.

• Cancellations received before 1 April 2026 → 50% refund.
• Cancellations received on or after 1 April 2026 → no refund.
• Name changes are allowed free of charge until 5 May 2026.
  No refunds will be granted due to changes in the scientific programme, speaker
  modifications, event format, transportation issues, visa refusals, or any circumstance
  beyond the control of Horizscience.

   Invoices will be issued by:

Participants must provide accurate billing information at the time of registration.
Invoices cannot be modified once issued, unless legally required.

7. Limitation of liability
   Horizcience S.L. shall not be liable for:

• force majeure events or circumstances outside its control,
• programme errors or last-minute changes,
• loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings,
• injuries or incidents involving third parties,
• failures by external vendors (venue, catering, transport, accommodation),
• visa refusals or travel difficulties,
• internet or streaming service disruptions (if applicable).
  If the congress is cancelled for reasons not attributable to Horizcience, the company’s
  liability will be strictly limited to refunding the registration fee minus unrecoverable
  expenses already incurred.

7. Visas and travel
   Horizcience does not guarantee visa approval.
   Visa denials or travel complications do not entitle the participant to a refund.
8. Data protection (GDPR compliance)
   Personal data provided through the registration process will be processed by Horizcience
   S.L. solely for:

• managing registrations,
• issuing communications,
• issuing invoices,
• handling administrative tasks related to the congress.

7. Applicable law and jurisdiction
   These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
   Any dispute shall be submitted to the Courts of Madrid (Spain), expressly waiving any other
   jurisdiction.
